What are Bitcoin Ordinals?

The Ordinals protocol is a system for numbering satoshis, giving each satoshi a serial number and tracking them across transactions. Simply put, ordinals allows users to make individual satoshis unique by attaching extra data to them.

What is happening with Ordinals?

Ordinals are once again causing record values. One reason for this is the newly introduced BRC-20 token standard (a new NFT feature for the BTC blockchain).

The most popular open source chrome extension for Bitcoin Ordinals and BRC-20 is the UniSat Wallet: https://unisat.io/
Here you can store, mint and transfer your Ordinals NFTs.

What has this got to do with Freename?

It's possible to mint Ordinals of your Freename domains using the formula from the whitepaper on https://ordtlds.com/
You can download the whitepapier through this link: https://ordtlds.com/b/whitepaper
